Hey fellas - My name is Shu and I'm new to the article writing scene. I've spent the past five years or so reading and learning and trying to squeeze some money out of this crazy industry and I hope that I can throw some progressive new tactics at you AND have you guys throw some new shit at me. I think we are all pretty bored of articles that tell us to submit our sites to search engines, and try to get on as many link lists as possible. :)

Ok, my game is Domain Names, and Phone Sex. I love buying domain names that can pull type ins. Why the hell do I do this? Well, I got sick and tired of posting to Link Lists, submitting to search engines, being buried on AVS link lists and just not getting any god damn traffic. So, I thought about it numerically. If I could find 75 domain names that could pull 1-3 type ins a day [2 on average] it would amount to approximately 150 hits a day. If I could find 20 names that pulled 5-10 type ins a day, it would amount to another 140 a day. Then I needed 5 names that pulled 25+ type ins a day, and I was willing to pay some cash for those. With ALOT of research time, and alot of luck, I was estimating that I could pull around 500 quality hits a day for about 1500-2000 a year in fees [15$ x 100 + extra for the top 5 names]. With 500 hits a day I figured I could make like 2-3 signups a day if I used the right sponsor [something free] paying about $15 each signup was $30 a day. Thats about $11,000 a year, minus 2000 for fees, is like 8000 profit just by buying 100 domain names. (In reality, I landed a few lucky names that pull 65-100 hits a day.. so anything is possible)

But here is where the problem came in. How the hell was I going to host these 100 domains and remain profitable?

Option 1. Register them with DirectNIC and have DirectNIC forward them to 100 different doorways. [DirectNIC has a free forwarding option]
Pro's: No hosting fees.
Con's: I'd have to create 100 different doorway pages which would take time, and always create a new one when I registered a new domain. Blah.

Option 2. TRANSFER all the names to a host and craft 100 different doorway pages.
Pro's: Unlimited customization for each domain, much better chance at selling
Con's: Fees from hosts for the domains, some hosts wouldn't even allow it, inefficient.

Now originally, I had DirectNIC forward ALL type in traffic to ONE funnel page that I created. I thought I was cool because I wasn't paying ANY hosting fees and was getting all this traffic to my funnel page. Cool yes, but super-pro level no.

How do I become super pro level?
Option 3. Use my expensive Computer Science degree to code something that could combine both previous good points.

Lets say I'm a surfer who just bought a computer for Christmas. I set it up, fire up IE, and I type into my browser:

whiteschoolgirls.com.

What happens if I get forwarded to some full page ad for some XXX VIDEO SITE with alot of asian girls on it. I might be enticed, but whatever. Not what I was looking for. There MIGHT be white schoolgirls inside, but nothing is telling me that. Nothing is MAKING me think that I've hit pay dirt. I back out and try Google.

However - what happens if I type in whiteschoolgirls.com and get forwarded to a site that says WHITE SCHOOLGIRLS across the top. What if it says WHITESCHOOLGIRLS.COM in Heading1 on it. I settle into my chair and unbutton my pants. It makes me STICK, and thats what I'm after. I want them to STICK, I don't want them to back out in 2 seconds when they realize that its just another Full Page Ad. I want the surfer to think that he is visiting an ACTUAL SITE that is made around the words he has just typed in. This critical difference drastically increases the value of type-in traffic.

What the hell does this have to do with PHP?
<< note: For those of you that don't know ANY PHP, it's a scripting language. You write code that sits on the webserver in the form of *.php files. The server reads the PHP files and SPITS out HTML. Its very simple to learn, you can learn it online through a tutorial, or grab Sam's Teach Yourself PHP in 24 hours. The concepts I'm going to go over are simple PHP. >>

My Goal: To create the illusion of 100's of different doorway pages, each customized to their respective domains, with the smallest capital and work involved. I'm going to explain this as simply as possible. Read slowly.

Step 1. Create a template sales page using 2 major keywords [it doesn't matter which ones you use now, I just want to walk you through the template] Put your keywords all over it. Put KEYWORD1KEYWORD2.COM across the top, and in the TITLE. Step 2. Now that your page is done and it sells the surfer on those 2 keywords, go into the HTML and everywhere that you have a keyword, take it out and make it a variable in PHP. For example: I make a page that says WHITESCHOOLGIRLS.COM all over it, and I put the words "WHITE" "SCHOOLGIRLS" in the title, in BOLD LETTERS across the top of the page, and in the description written on the page. Then I go into the HTML and make the words "WHITE" into $keyword1, "SCHOOLGIRLS" into $keyword2. I then make that HTML file into a PHP file with those variables declared at the top.

Here comes the magic. I goto DirectNIC and have them forward all traffic from "whiteschoolgirls.com" for free. This time though, instead of forwarding all your type in traffic to a dumb standard URL, you forward traffic to your PHP script, sending in the variables you want. For example I'd forward all traffic from domain "whiteschoolgirls.com" to URL: http://www.anydomain.com/myscript.php?keyword1=WHITE&keyword2=SCHOOLGIRLS Thus generating a customized doorway page on the fly with PHP for that domain. Customer sticks around, looks around, pats himself on the back, and buys whatever I tell him to buy.

Try this: Put any keywords you want into the URL and see for yourself what I'm talking about. Reload it a few times modifying the keywords.

http://www.terzl.com/test.php?keyword=WHITE&keyword2=SCHOOLGIRLS

The code for the following test.php file is as follows:

<html>
<head>
<title>Welcome to <?php echo $keyword; ?> <?php echo $keyword2; ?>
</title>
<body>
<center><h1>Welcome to <?php echo $keyword; ?> <?php echo $keyword2; ?></h1></center>
</body>
</html>

Ultra simple. Right?

Imagine the possibilities here. You could design 5 graphical logos, lets say one for each major niche. Then make the FILENAME of your logo a variable and send that in too. This way you could even have a TEEN/TRANNY/BLACK/FAT logo popup with TEEN/TRANNY/BLACK/FAT BLAH.COM written above it! Without extensive hosting! You could do some tricky shit in the code, the possibilities are limitless. If you get super-hardcore, you could create amazing illusions, complete with customized tours. Everytime you buy a name, decide what category it fits in and send in those appropriate variables through a forwarding option. Super elite pro level maximization.

I'm so tired... more to come,
Shu
