There are always keys to success in every business. We are in the adult business and it isn't different here. These keys include, the right tools, quality content,a good time schedule, a knowledge of your job, a dedication to success, and to me most important NETWORKING. Not catV or routers, but peer to peer in a sort. The friends that I made in my first week working in this industry are still there for me.

Know who is full of shit and remember that, LOL. I met a guy about 2 weeks in this business who lived in my home state, he talked big and wanted to drive up and meet me. I tried to discourage him but he came anyway. Well, he showed up at the house with his wife and she seemed very nice, and there kids, who I wont say anything about, (just my cat will never be the same). He offered all types of advice, some good and some bad, and I could tell this cat was full of shit from the get go, but he did say some true things, who knows maybe some one said them to him at some point of time and it stuck whatever the case, my point here is don't run off the idiots, they may have a bit of knowledge you can extract before you send them packing.

You need to be a fucking sponge, soak up everything someone says. Go through it later and weed out the shit from the real. That way you get the best of both worlds. Check out message boards. Message boards are more full of shit than the dude I met BUT there are a lot of established webmasters out there that will drop a crumb of knowledge for you. Don't go into a message board guns blazing. I see this all the time by people. They come to a message board and start barking at the biggest dog. I always wonder if these guys want to succeed. Don't give an inch to someone but don't fucking mess with people. You will get tested to see what kind of person you so always think before you post. If you impress someone they will give you a hand, if not they will step on you. Just sit back, be quiet and soak it up.

Download ICQ http://www.icq.com/ if you haven't. This is a good place to converse in semi-private conversation. Remember like your mother always said " if you don't have something nice to say..." it applies here. Talk shit about someone on icq and you can almost bet that the person you are talking to has a message open to the person your talking about and they are copy and pasting. LOL

Don't fall into the shadowy part of this industry and there is one.. a Large one. Once you do this you are dead to the rest of the bigger people here. You may say "well I can recreate myself on here". Don't underestimate the power of the big dogs to know everything about everybody LOL. These guys will surprise you. And once you fucked up in there eyes, your fucked from every angle. Also you never know who the movers and shakers are. The guy you have been chatting it up with on icq, may be one of the people that make this industry rock. Always treat everyone the same, it will payoff in the end. Unless they fuck you, then well...Also go to some of the irc meetings they have online. ARS has them, maxcash, PLR, etc... There are a hell of a lot of them out there and you can find a list of where there going to be at on PR's main Page. Then again sit back and absorb. This isn't rocket science. I guess the point of all this is get your name out there, your sites out there and make some friends. The more friends you have the more of a chance you have at succeeding!
